Oklahoma’s well respected plastic surgeons, Dr. Stephen Gauthier & Dr. Justin Jones, and Injectable Aesthetics have teamed up to bring you Coolsculpting®, with the newest applicators and technology on the market.
With CoolSculpting®, fat is frozen by a precise cooling method to target unwanted areas of fat such as the abdomen, thighs and arms. The cells underneath the skin in the treatment area are frozen or crystallized and ultimately die. The body then naturally processes the fat and effectively eliminates the dead cells. Unlike traditional liposuction this leaves the body sculpted without the invasiveness of conventional surgery. Nurse Natausha and her highly trained staff will walk you through the process to ensure you are educated and comfortable with this highly effective treatment.
CoolSculpting® is the #1 non-invasive fat reduction treatment on the market. It absolutely works without incisions, and without downtime!
Some people notice a small amount of weight loss with CoolSculpting®, but most of the time, the patient loses more inches than weight on the scale.
Most people are candidates for CoolSculpting®. The people who receive the best results are those patients who have a “trouble area,” despite weight loss and exercise. People who see the best results generally are those who exercise, and eat a fairly clean diet along with their CoolSculpting® treatment. However, size doesn’t matter. We have treated small to large men and women and everyone gets a result!
CoolSculpting® costs depend on the size of the area treated as well as the size of the applicator used. Most treatments range from $900-$1500 per treatment, and most people require 2 treatments for full benefit.
2 treatments are preferred in 90% of the patient population. Occasionally someone may need a 3rd treatment.
CoolSculpting® is permanent, assuming one’s weight doesn’t fluctuate a large amount. A 5-10lb weight gain is not going to change the results of someone’s CoolSculpting® treatment. A 20-30lb weight gain could potentially make the area treated not appear like it did prior to the weight gain, due to the fact that there are still fat cells present in the area.
There really aren’t any negative side effects. The most common side effects after treatment are slight bloating or swelling of the area, numbness, and redness.
